Veteran Affairs

Veterans can now apply for enrollment at A.R.T. under the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment program (VR&E), often referred to as the Chapter 31 program.

A Veteran must be at least 10% or more VA service-connected disability or 20% or more with an employment handicap. When in the program, the VA will pay FULL tuition, supplies, and BAH (Base Housing Allowance) basically extra income each month while in training.

It's simple to apply. Just follow these steps:

  • Log in to your eBenefits account at https://www.ebenefits.va.gov.
  • Select "Apply".
  • Select "Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Benefits".
  • Apply for "Educational and Career Counseling".
  • If it is determined that you are eligible, you will be invited to attend an orientation session at the nearest VA Regional Office.
